Hello my name is Dami. I am 15 years old and studying photography for the first time. I chose photography because i like to be creative and take photos in everyday life. I use my phone as a camera to capture moments and keep memories alive. I enjoy taking photographs of the sky and activities that I do with my friends. I am hoping to learn more skill and techniques to improve the way I see pictures.

In my opinion, I think taking GCSE Photography could be a rewarding choice for several reasons. Firstly, it allows me to explore and develop my creative skills in a more structured environment. I believe that through practical assignments, I can learn about composition, lighting and the technical aspects of photography, which can help me enhance my ability to capture captivating images. Secondly, I think that GCSE Photography creates a platform for self-expression and storytelling for me. It gives me the opportunity to give my thoughts and perspectives through my images. I also view photography as a powerful way to exchange ideas and experiences with others.
Finally, I think that studying GCSE Photography can open up avenues for further education and careers in the creative industries. For example becoming a professional photographer, journalism or pursuing higher education in art and design. Furthermore, it helps with critical thinking and problem solving skills.
